Holy Hour and Sacred Music: 7pm - 8pm
Join us for a special evening to prepare for Christmas, beginning with a twilight Advent market where local makers will offer bespoke and hand-crafted Catholic and Christian items and gifts.
Following the market, gather in the beautiful setting of St Peter’s Catholic Church for Holy Hour, with Adoration accompanied by sacred music. Be led through the ancient prayers of the Church with moments of prayer and personal reflection, as The Seven Antiphons of Advent give voice to hope and expectation, guiding our hearts towards the coming of our Saviour, Emmanuel.
The antiphons will be sung and performed by Melbourne’s finest soloists and musicians, with exquisite harmony, chants and ancient polyphony, drawing on the Church’s rich musical tradition, revealing the presence of God and drawing us into communion with Him.

The evening’s music is offered as a free event through our Encountering Beauty series, with donations on entry supporting our work to make beauty and prayer accessible to all through our sacred music programme.
