The Sacrament of Confirmation

Confirmation completes a person’s initiation into the Catholic Church, deepening their relationship with Christ through the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Celebrated by the Bishop, this sacrament is ordinarily received in Year 6. Through the laying on of hands and anointing with Chrism, candidates are strengthened in faith and called to live as witnesses of the Gospel.

Making the Sacrament of Confirmation at our Parish

For families at Catholic and non-Catholic schools who would like their children to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, or anyone interested in making adult confirmation in the Catholic Church, chat with Fr Dean after any Mass to discuss the preparation program.
