The Sacrament of Confession

The Sacrament of Confession

Confession, also called Reconciliation, is a sacrament of healing and mercy. It’s where we come before God with honesty, acknowledge our sins, and receive His forgiveness. Through this sacrament, we are reconciled with God and with the Church, and given the grace to start anew.

We make our confession to a priest, who acts in the person of Christ. He listens, offers guidance, and speaks the words of absolution, assuring us that our sins are truly forgiven by God. Confession times are listed on the Mass times page.
